Reading and guided tour

Saturday 9 April 2022, 16.30 · MUSEC Museo delle Culture, Lugano

Guided tour of the exhibition Japan. Arts and Life. The Montgomery Collection at MUSEC (Riva Antonio Caccia 5, Lugano). In 2022, Hesse fans and other interested persons will be introduced to an important cultural institution in Ticino. This year the Hermann Hesse Museum will be hosted by the Museo delle Culture in Lugano.

At 16.30. actors Antonio Ballerio (Italian) and Ernst Süss (German) will read extracts from Hermann Hesse's most read novel Siddhartha, published exactly 100 years ago and translated into over 50 languages. Afterwards, visitors will be guided through the current temporary exhibition Japan. Arts and Life. The Montgomery Collection (17.30 to 18.30).

An aperitif for all guests follows.
The visit to the MUSEC is offered in Italian and German and can take place with a maximum of 40 persons, the reading is open to a maximum of 60 participants.

In Italian and German; admission to the MUSEC exhibition and reading is free.
