What is authorship today?

Saturday 8 July 2023, from 18.00 · Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro (Figino)

In Figino, the Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro is once again hosting the open-air summer events under the name gARTen. For the fourth edition of the series, the Museo Hermann Hesse Montagnola and the Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro are collaborating to offer an evening that will address the theme of creativity, to question the value of authorship today.

At 19.00, the evening will open with an interpreted reading of texts by Hermann Hesse, staged by Laura Zeolla (Italian) and Heike Möhlen (German), around the topic of the Garden. Then it will be the turn of Zurich-based artist Nicola Genovese, who in his performance Warp (20.00) will investigate the creative possibilities and limits of artificial intelligence in relation to the myth of human creativity. The work, site-specific, will be in German, Italian and English.

The evening will conclude with an open dialogue with the artists involved.

Free entrance. More informations on the partner’website: Fondazione Lombardi per il teatro.
