Concert in collaboration with Ceresio Estate
Wednesday 2 August 2023, 19.00 · Sala Boccadoro, Montagnola
As part of the summer concert series organized by Ceresio Estate, the Museo Hermann Hesse Montagnola traditionally hosts a musical evening. This year a young and promising trio will perform: the Tuscan violinist Pamela Tempestini, the clarinettist Fernando Luis Fernandez Frutos from Murcia and the Apulian pianist Sara Capone. The musicians all graduated with a master's degree from the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana. The trio will present a program that will demonstrate their already outstanding qualities as interpreters.
In addition to the suite from Stravinsky's L'histoire du Soldat and Bartók's Contrasts, the audience will hear the suite by Darius Milhaud and the Atlantic Trio by Joan Albert Amargós, a contemporary Catalan composer also known for his film music.
In collaboration with Ceresio Estate. Free admission. Reservation is not required.
Before the concert, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a free guided tour of the special exhibition The Son Heiner Hesse – Rebel. Artist. Pacifist.
In Italian, 5.30 p.m.
