Silent Reading Rave – Winter Edition
Given the past success of these events, typically offered during the summer, we have decided to add an additional Silent Reading Rave to this year's calendar in the fall. This edition will take place in the museum's indoor rooms, with a candlelit atmosphere for the occasion. Enjoy 90 minutes of silent reading —a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of your busy schedule. We look forward to seeing you there on November 30 at 3:30 PM! More information >>
Talk “Hermann Hesse
e lo Slow Travel”
On September 7, the Museo presented the event Hermann Hesse e lo Slow Travel with the participation of travelers Gisela Etter and Yuri Monaco. Interviewed by moderator Daniela Bruderer, they shared with us anecdotes and stories of their slow travels with candor and passion. Enriching the Talk were readings of Hermann Hesse's prose and diaries from his stay in Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia and Ceylon collected over a period of more than forty years, giving us a better characterization of the Nobel Prize winner's more vagabond side.
